Most readers ‘of a certain age’ (and this could really be just about any age, but let’s assume they’re all legal to vote in the US, okay?) have probably read one of the smutty books on the shelf. You know the ones – hot, half-naked man on the cover, hair blowing in the breeze, chest muscles glistening.

Yup, I read them, and I like them. They’re like Cheetos for my brain – no nutritional value but fun to consume.

I recently read such a book, and thought I’d share with you.

Indecent_ExposureSetting up the money shot

Quiet, sensible Ellie Smithson is a highly respectable photographer by day – but there are only so many wedding photo-shoots you can take without your mind wandering to what happens when the blissfully happy bride is swept off her feet and straight to the honeymoon suite’s sumptuous four-poster bed…

So after dark, Ellie takes pictures of a more…intimate nature – a dirty little secret she’s kept from her accountant Tom. Until now. It seems Tom is the subject of her next racy shoot!

It isn’t just the blurring of work and personal boundaries that’s the problem; secretly Ellie has always had fantasies of a most unprofessional nature about the almost illegally gorgeous Tom. With such temptation on display, how will she ever stay behind the camera?!

Indecent Exposure is the first novella in the “Indecent” series.

I was completely stunned by this brilliant piece of fiction. Stunned. It owned me from the very first line through the perfect ending. And oh my goodness, the naughtiness!

Ellie is a brilliant heroine – creative, controlled, worried about what other people think. Her entire life, though, is one big game of hide and seek. She hides behind the lens of her camera, avoiding real life interactions. She hides how much she enjoys taking erotic photographs because she worries about what people will think. But that’s not all she hides.

Tom…how on earth did Jane make an accountant so sexy? Trust me, Ellie’s description of him didn’t really seem attractive at first, but then she digs a little deeper. She tells you more than just how ugly and boring his brown suit is, she tells you about his muscles and his large hands, about the bird tattoo in an…intimate location. She takes a boring accountant and turns him into someone you want to drag off into a dark alley and do dirty things with.

The story is a quick read but well worth the investment. This is no PWP, this tale has heart and soul and will make you feel for these characters while you hope they get to a bedroom…or a couch…or an alley. Seriously.

The alley.

5_FiveFive amazing, glorious, wonderful, dirty stars. There are two more books in this series and trust me, they sound just as fabulous as Indecent Exposure. I will definitely be grabbing those two as soon as possible and telling you all about them!

About the Author

I grew up in Yorkshire, surrounded by derelict mills, sheep and flat vowels , a stereotypical bookworm who ploughed through a novel a day (or should that be night) and tried very hard to do well at maths. After going to University (twice) I had a short spell as a teacher before leaving the profession when my first child arrived six weeks early. I emerged from a fog of nappies and no sleep when my second child was ten months old, realised that CBeebies didn’t really cut it entertainment wise and decided I was going to write a book.
